LinkedIn Learning Courses

All members of the DePauw community have access to LinkedIn Learning (LIL), which provides an enormous catalog of online learning courses covering a wide variety of topics. Please see this page for access instructions.

LIL offers literally thousands of courses related to AI. This page attempts to curate a more manageable list that may be particularly relevant to the DePauw community. Courses and learning paths in this list have been completed or reviewed by DePauw personnel or have been recommended by a trusted collaborator or partner. There are no doubt many other (good) options so you are encouraged to start here but then to expand options through your own searches.

Additional notes

  • This list was compiled based on their collective representation of breadth and depth (related to AI).

  • The target audience is at the level of beginner or intermediate.

  • It is fairly common for a course to feature or utilize the author's preferred AI assistant, but the skills learned usually transfer well to other assistants.

  • All material, including individual courses and learning paths, were published or updated in 2025 or 2026.

  • Most LIL courses and learning paths offer Certificates of Completion (issued by LIL). Others offer Professional Certificates provided by reputable companies; these usually require passing an exam and act as a verification of competency in a field or topic or with a particular software or technology ecosystem. Certificates provide a professional framework to facilitate engagement, document progress, and formally validate your achievements.

Individual Courses (often shorter in duration and focused)

Learning Paths (feature multiples courses with a longer overall duration encouraging more depth on a given topic)

Professional Certificates (usually require passing a rigorous exam to gain recognition from a reputable company)
