- Not required
- Must be 18 to open an account
- Bring passport, $25 with you to the meeting
- Will get a debit card, not a credit card
How Much to Bring With You
- ~$200 in cash
- Helpful for first few days (for taxi, in case credit card doesn’t work, etc.)
- Discuss travel with your credit card company (if you have a credit card)
- Some countries sell cards with dollars on them that you can use when you arrive

F-1 Students are permitted to work on campus as early as their first year of study

Suggested To Do List
- Create a profile on ADP RM (the DePauw Job Site)
- Create a resume (if you don’t already have one)
- Accept your work-study award (if you have one)
Only once you have a job offer, you can apply for a SSN in the US at the SSO.
Additional suggestions:
- Network: Don’t be afraid to ask around/stop by various offices/connect to people to see if there are any positions available
