Faculty news roundup - July 23, 2020
David Alvarez, associate professor of English, has received a visiting scholars fellowship from the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. While on sabbatical from DePauw, he will be in residence at the University of Regensburg in Germany for a year, researching, writing and teaching a graduate seminar on literature and religious toleration in the English Enlightenment.
Derek Ford, assistant professor of education studies, was interviewed for the “Ask the Experts” feature in Wallet Hub’s July 20 story, “2020’s Most & Least Educated Cities in America.”
President Lori White participated in a remote panel and was quoted in “The Edge,” a feature of The Chronicle of Higher Education, July 22.
