Research Interests:

My imagery combines the pictorial logic found in medieval panel painting with the cartoons and video games of the 1980's and 90′s.  The paintings are not planned, sketched, or painted from source or observation.  They resist vanishing-point perspective, realistic light, and gravity in order to emphasize alternative, non-empirical ways of framing experience.
