Access and Expansion. DePauw’s maker spaces expand the realm of what’s possible. Our faculty and staff have designed spaces that give students access to professional equipment, safe and comfortable work environments, training and guidance on an array of tools that expand the cocurricular learning opportunities and complement the liberal arts academic experience. Exploring these maker spaces is something to put near the top of your to-do list!

Designed by the internationally-acclaimed architect Carlos Jiménez, this building features classroom and studio space, three spacious galleries and a 90-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art acoustics.
The Percy L. Julian Science and Mathematics Center, in addition to housing classroom, laboratories and department resources, is also home to maker spaces for hands-on, highly technical STEM work.
The Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media (PCCM) has multiple spaces for you to experiment and build your project across all digital media platforms. Faculty and staff can point you in the right direction and highly active student-run clubs like DePauw Film Club bring these spaces to life for the student looking to get hands-on experiences.
The lower level of the Union Building hosts a wide variety of board games, puzzles, and arts and craft supplies that are available for use by student organizations and individual students looking to create for course and personal projects.
