Eligibility:
- Must be nominated by your home university based on an exchange agreement
- At least one year of full-time university studies completed
- Good academic standing
- Proof of English proficiency (as required by partner agreement)
Application Process:
- Your home university must nominate you for an exchange program with DePauw, based on an exchange agreement. Consult your home institution for their application deadlines and any additional eligibility requirements.
- Complete the online application to DePauw University.
Estimated Costs:
Costs are based on the agreement DePauw has with your home institution. Please reach out to the International Office at your home university for details about tuition, fees, and any potential waivers.



After Admission: Next Steps
- Reply to your offer of admission.
- Apply for a J-1 Visa:
- Upload your passport photo page and proof of finances to the ISA Portal.
- Receive your DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility.
- Schedule a visa appointment at the nearest U.S. consulate or embassy.
- Pay the consular/embassy visa fee and the I-901 SEVIS fee (bring your SEVIS receipt to the interview).
- Monitor your email for next steps on housing, course registration, and more.
- Attend ISA Welcome Week and New Student Orientation (August 12–19, 2025 for Fall; January 20, 2026 for Spring).
