CALLBACKS

Spring Awakening Callback Information, Readings, and Music

DePauw University – Fall 2025

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. If you are called back for a MALE role, you should study music for either MORITZ and/or MELCHIOR, as indicated on the Callback Schedule, AND the music for MEN’S CLOSE HARMONY, as indicated on the Music Information Sheet.

2. If you are called for a FEMALE role, you should study music for either WENDLA and/or MARTHA, as indicated on the Callback Schedule, AND the music for WOMEN’S CLOSE HARMONY, as indicated on the Music Information Sheet.

3. Prepare readings as indicated on the Callback Schedule. Please note that you may be reading characters for which you are not called back – and, conversely, you may NOT be reading for characters for which you ARE called back. There’s a logic here, I promise.
