May 9, 2006, Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The second-ranked Tigers shot a first-round 327 and are in second place after the first of four rounds at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort. Methodist leads with a 308.

Sarah Gates shot a 77 and is tied for third, while Ali Murtaugh is tied for eighth with a 79 and Lauren Brummett is tied for 23rd with an 84.

Lisa Chambers is tied for 32nd with an 87 and Kristen Kriegshauser is tied for 42nd with a 91. Emily Ranney and Colleen Walsh of Methodist share the individual lead at 76.
