Dedication Eve Concert

The  DePauw University School of Music prepares to unveil, in a musical celebration, the School's newly rebuilt and expanded Judson and Joyce Green Center for the Performing Arts, named for the benefactors whose leading gift in 2005 made possible the University's commitment to realize the multi-faceted structure.
This program with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and its conductor, Kirk Trevor, is a testament to the remarkable talents possessed by the DePauw University School of Music faculty, no less than 18 of whom appear as soloists. Another, Orcenith Smith, appears as conductor in a work by American composer Howard Hanson while Professor Gabriel Crouch has spent several hours rehearsing with the DePauw Choirs to prepare the Beethoven Symphony.
