For faculty members in Category A (full-time tenure-track faculty members, faculty members with multi-year term appointments and librarians) there is $1000 a year available to attend external workshops not related to a conference. For workshops that extend longer than the usual 4 nights/5 days or more than the $1000 limit, faculty members may choose to submit a Professional Development Fund application. Faculty members in other categories should check "Faculty Eligibility and Categories for Funding."

Reporting Process: Receipts for expenses and a completed accounting reimbursement voucher worksheet should be turned in to Becky Wallace in a timely manner, normally during the fiscal year. Faculty members who have presented a paper or poster must turn in a copy with the receipts in order to be reimbursed for expenses.
