Purpose: A separate fund exists for professional meetings sponsored by the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA). There is additional funding towards PKAL, CUR, ACM and Midwest Faculty Seminars. Support is available on a first-come first-served basis for faculty members. No application is necessary but interested faculty members are required to:

  • Consult with Becky Wallace on the availability of funds for a given program; normally reimbursement will be made for mileage at $.42 per mile, modest meal costs, and registration fees;
  • Submit receipts directly to Becky Wallace immediately following conference participation.
  • If you discover at the last minute that you cannot attend a meeting, notify Becky Wallace so your registration can be canceled, thus preventing the University from being billed.

Eligibility: All teaching faculty members are eligible. For details see "Faculty Eligibility and Categories for Funding."

Reporting Process: Receipts for expenses and a completed accounting reimbursement voucher worksheet should be turned in to Becky Wallace in a timely manner, normally during the fiscal year.
