Theory IV

The fourth of four core courses in music theory. Students will explore more advanced topics in form, voice-­‐leading, harmonic language, and rhythmic language in Renaissance, Common-­‐Practice, contemporary classical, jazz, pop/rock, and musical theater styles. Prerequisite: MUS 211. To be offered beginning Spring 2017.
