Student Health Services
DePauw Health Wellness Center operates on an appointment-only basis. Current enrolled students are eligible to utilize the DePauw Health Wellness Center. Call 765-658-4555 to make an appointment. Appointments are available during these hours:
Regular hours August 11, 2025, through December 11, 2025, and January 26, 2026, through May 15, 2026.
- Monday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Hours January 5, 2026, through January 23, 2026.
- Monday – 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Wednesday – 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Health services
Most health services provided in the DePauw Health Wellness Center have no out-of-pocket costs to students as part of their annual comprehensive fee. The following are a list of services for students:

- Physicals
- Gynecological exams
- Wellness Coaching
- Nutrition
- Exercise Counseling
- Testing for HIV and sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis, trichomoniasis, herpes)
- Allergy Injections
- TB Quantiferon Golds
- Lab services
- Medications – $20 oral contraceptive (3 month supply); Plan B $20; Ella $20; Other short-term antibiotics and anti-inflammatories are available for free.
- Immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tdap, PPD (TB skin test), Influenza (seasonal)) – Costs vary. Billed to student account. Please note: the COVID-19 vaccine is not available at this time.
Specialty health care is available through local and regional-based medical and surgical specialists at Hendricks Regional Health and Putnam County Hospital.
For Students Under 18
Students under the age of 18 cannot be treated for health-related services in the DePauw Health Wellness Center without parental/legal guardian consent. In order for DePauw Health Wellness Center to provide prompt medical care to your minor student, please read and complete this consent form. We will retain this consent on file so care may be provided without delay should an emergency occur.
The completed form may be dropped off at the DePauw Health Wellness Center on the second floor of the Lilly Center, emailed to the DePauw Health Wellness Center secure email at depauwhealth@hendricks.org or faxed to 765-658-4558.
Please note the conditions when parental consent is not required:
- An individual who (i) is emancipated; (ii) is or has been married; (iii) is in the military service of the United States; or (iv) is otherwise authorized to consent to his/her own treatment pursuant to IN Code 16-36-1-3 (a)(2)(b).
- An individual who has, suspects that the individual has, or has been exposed to a venereal disease is competent to give consent for medical or hospital care or treatment: IN Code 16-36-1-3 (d).
- Emergency Treatment: In the good faith opinion of the attending physician, the individual is incapable of making a decision regarding the proposed health care: IN Code 16-36-1-4.
Medical records and your privacy
DePauw Health Wellness Center utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system to enable better coordination of care, faster test results, and more streamlined physician ordering. The EPIC EMR system has a patient portal called MyChart to access medical records, test results and appointment summaries. Make sure to speak with your Medical Assistant about getting registered for MyChart in order to access your medical records.
Individuals who have been seen in the DePauw Health Wellness Center can access their medical records through MyChart or request their medical records by completing this form and returning it to the DePauw Health Wellness Center.
Your personal health information is 100% confidential. DePauw University values and understands that your privacy is very important. All information contained in your health record is confidential, as protected by federal law. DePauw University will not, under any circumstances, have access to individual results.
