Cultivating Relationships

I knew that at DePauw I would have the opportunity to explore a wide array of interests. As a senior, I will leave DePauw having refined those interests that ignited my college career, while establishing new areas of exploration along the way.

Thanks to the Media Fellows Program, I’ve had the opportunity to pursue various facets of media. The program fosters a hands-on environment where students can easily access instructors and technology to connect and engage with media. My experience has led me to various internships in working newsrooms.

All of these experiences have led me to pursue a career as a multimedia journalist reporting on issues related to food, agriculture policy and the environment.

DePauw has been such a transformative experience for me because of the relationships that I have cultivated throughout my four years. The most notable of these relationships are with my professors. They have offered their time and energy to ensure that I reach my highest potential as a student, leader and professional. For that, I will forever be grateful.
