That's what you saw on the field today. Our guys refused to lose." That was Coach Nick Mourouzis' assessment after his Tigers defeated Wabash College in the 2000 Monon Bell Classic, 27-17. It marked DePauw's fifth straight win over Wabash.

The Tigers and quarterback Jason Lee clawed back from a 17-9 deficit with three touchdowns in the second half.  Lee, competing despite a torn anterior cruciate ligament, completed 25-of-42 passes for 276 yards.
