President Lori White was quoted March 20 by the Augusta Free Press in “UVA names Rhodes Scholar with history of helping students succeed as new student affairs chief.”
David Gellman, A.W. Crandall professor of history and chair of the History Department, wrote a blog entry, “Mastering Paradox: John Jay As A Slaveholding Abolitionist,” that was posted March 18 by the Gotham Center for New York City History.
Emmitt Riley III, assistant professor of Africana studies, participated March 20 in a discussion of domestic politics in an episode of the radio program “The Critical Hour.”
Jeff McCall, communications professor, was quoted by Fox News March 16 in “Washington Post's 'find the fraud' correction points to larger issue with agenda-driven anonymous sources” and March 18 in “Liberal media need to wait for facts before blaming Atlanta shootings on Trump and racism, critics say.” The AP quoted him March 22 in “Fox weather forecaster Dean turns into fierce Cuomo critic” March 22 and BizPac Review quoted him March 20 in “CNN anchor invokes FDR’s Japanese internment camps and US ‘legacy of hate and racism’ after spa shootings.”
Steve Fouty, the James W. Emison director of the McDermond Center for Management and Entrepreneurship, was a guest for an episode of the “No More Mondays” podcast called “Intrapreneurship is a Thing, Too!”
