Veronica Pejril, director of Faculty Instructional Technology Support, an adjunct assistant professor of music and a composer, collaborated with choreographer André Williams ’15 on “Limbo,” an original work for dance and music. The piece premiered at the IndyFringe Festival Sept. 3 as part of Relevations INDance company's Neither/Nor program. The piece also was set to be performed Sept. 10 at Indianapolis’s MacAllister Amphitheater at Garfield Park and Sept. 30 at DePauw’s Inauguration Symposium.

A forthcoming book by Derek Ford, assistant professor of education studies, was favorably reviewed in the Hampton Institute. The book, “Marxism, Pedagogy, and the General Intellect: Beyond the Knowledge Economy,” is set to be published next month by Palgrave Macmillan.

Jeff McCall, communications professor, was quoted Sept. 9 by KTRH radio in “‘Warning Fatigue’ Blamed for Dozens of Deaths in Ida Flooding.”
