President Lori White participated in a virtual panel briefing through the Presidents’ Alliance and World Education Services addressing the rule to end the duration of status for F-1 international students and J exchange visitors and their families Oct. 7.
Deborah Douglas, the Eugene S. Pulliam distinguished visiting professor of journalism, is a local competition finalist for the 2020 Gerald Loeb Awards for her work with several colleagues entitled "Profiting from the Poor" – MLK50: Justice Through Journalism and ProPublica. The virtual event will be held Nov. 12.
