Wabash Dominates Tigers, Retains Monon Bell, 47-0

Stan Huntsman running with the footballNovember 15, 1952, Crawfordsville, Ind. - The coveted Monon Bell will remain in Crawfordsville for a fourth consecutive year as a result of today's 47-0 Wabash College victory over DePauw University at Ingalls Field. The Little Giants' Stan Huntsman ravaged the DePauw defense, accounting for almost 250 of his team's 296 rushing yards and even throwing a touchdown pass. Wabash amassed 515 total yards, exactly 400 more than the Tigers could muster.

The loss ends DePauw's season with a 4-4 record; Wabash winds up 5-4.
