290A: Topics: The Art and Science of Coaching for Human Performance

This course will provide space for students to broadly investigate the theories and practices that contribute to coaching for an improvement in human performance. Areas of focus will include creating a framework for coaching values, defining principles for successful coaching, and developing a coaching philosophy. Students should expect to critically evaluate primary resources written on these topics and contribute to regular class discussions. Prerequisites include KINS100 or permission from the instructor.
