Address some of the most controversial topics surrounding women, gender and sexuality, and resolve to be an empathetic and active influence. Explore the diversity of women’s past experiences and contributions, the changing roles of men and women today and the difference gender makes to nearly every area of life. An interdisciplinary core curriculum crossed with traditional areas of study allow students of every background to grow in openness, tolerance, ethics and awareness around some of the most relevant issues of our time.
With courses like “Genesis and Gender,” “Women and Politics” and “Love and War in Medieval Art and Literature,” you may concentrate on an area of interest while acquiring skills and interrogating perspectives from many different disciplines. Our faculty are thinking up new courses and new and relevant angles to study each year.
