GEOS Speaker - Maggie Baber '11

Maggie Baber '11 returned to DePauw on April 5 to present a talk on "Developing a 10Be chronology of late Pleistocene and Holocene glaciation in the Rwenzori Mts., Uganda", the subject of her recently completed Master's degree at Dartmouth College. Maggie used an innovative approach involving 10Be to constrain the age of recessional moraines in a valley within the Rwenzori Mountains on the flanks of the East African Rift in Uganda.
