Hiram L. Jome Professor of Economics and Management

 

Dr. Raghav believes in a balance in pedagogical approaches and uses a wide variety of teaching methods and techniques. He introduces students to a variety of different perspectives and schools of thought in economics. Dr. Raghav has received multiple grants to develop curriculum. He earned Teaching Innovation Program Certification from American Economic Association through finishing coursework and training. He specializes in teaching microeconomics, applied microeconomics fields (such as labor economics, health economics, and the economics of education), econometrics, and data analytics. Dr. Raghav Previously taught at the business school of Washington and Lee University. He undertakes research in the economics of education, labor economics, law and economics, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and other topics related to these fields. Dr. Raghav published many peer-reviewed articles in a variety of different journals. He is affiliated with two international research organizations, Forschungsinstitut zur Zukunft der Arbeit or Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) as a Research Fellow and Global Labor Organization (GLO) as a Fellow.
