Global Language Studies

The stimulating discovery and understanding of foreign cultures and languages.

Understanding a language opens the door to the literature, cinema, business and civilization of a place and society. As a global language studies student, you will explore a new culture, its humanities and its current events, and develop oral, written and reading proficiency in its language.

We encourage all of our students to spend at least one semester in a country where their target language is spoken. You can immerse yourself in the life and history of Italy, teach English in rural Taiwan, or perfect your Spanish in Ecuador with the Servicio en las Americas program. Add your story to our growing registry of adventuresome alumni.
