Becca Moore

Senior Associate Director of Admission
Director of Visit Experiences

Becca Moore

Becca grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Park Tudor School.  She continued her education at Denison University, graduating as a Departmental Fellow in Psychology. Beginning her professional career in higher education in the Office of Admission at DePauw University she transferred to The McDermond Center for Management & Entrepreneurship to develop and coordinate a recruiting strategy for the Management Fellows Program.

Following over 15 years at DePauw, Becca joined a private company where she shared her expertise as a college search and financial aid consultant for The National Center for College Costs, an organization committed to helping families across the socioeconomic spectrum to see that college is an option they can afford.

Becca returned to DePauw in the summer of 2014 because she missed the intellectual climate at a college of DePauw’s caliber. She believes that creating an atmosphere where students form connections and relationships with faculty, other students, staff, alumni and experiences is what DePauw does so well.  As the on-campus Admission Office Event Coordinator she has the opportunity to help students and families learn how DePauw can become their home and have a life-long impact on their lives.

Over 30 years ago Becca and her husband, an Oberlin College graduate, met at DePauw University and he has been at the university even longer. They now have 3 college graduates, all from liberal arts colleges (one from DePauw and two from Kenyon College) and their youngest child is a senior at Beloit College. Clearly, Becca is a proponent of the liberal arts.

Becca thinks one of the best way to relax in the evenings and weekends is to take her dog on walks around the campus and at DePauw’s Nature Park. It is the campus itself with its additions and enhancements where she loves to spend time. Secretly a decorating addict, Becca is usually repainting a room or changing the drapes and she is always seeking out antique/junk shops, looking for just the right piece to add to the new design.
