Regional Associate Director of Admission
Emily grew up in McHenry, Illinois and as a first-generation college student she completed her undergraduate studies at DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at DePaul, she was involved with Chi Omega sorority, mentored youth through the Cities Project, and worked in the admissions office as a student assistant and intern. Participating in these activities helped her realize a passion for working with high school students to support and celebrate them throughout the college search process.
Following graduation, Emily went on to work in the admissions for Beloit College in Wisconsin. There she worked for 8+ years with students from all over the United States to help them find their college home. After seeing the power of a liberal arts education in action, she decided to join the DePauw Admission staff in 2022. Emily is drawn to DePauw’s student-centric approach and focus on preparing future leaders. She is excited to work with students who want to join our friendly and inclusive campus community.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews and competing weekly with her trivia team. She can also be found binge watching TV shows, working on jigsaw puzzles, or enjoying a hike with a good podcast.
