We Empower Your Achievement

Since DePauw’s founding as Indiana Asbury, we have sought to offer educational opportunities to students with generous gifts from alumni and donors to help students reach their full potential. We have long been committed to access for students regardless of who they are or where they come from. In fact, that commitment dates back to 1837, when our original charter called on the community to maintain the school “for the benefit of the youth of every class of citizens, and of every denomination, who shall be freely admitted to equal advantages and privileges of education.”

At DePauw, you will never be in a lecture hall with 200+ students listening to a graduate student teaching from behind a microphone. You will have faculty and staff advisors to help guide your education and career planning. You will have on- and off-campus opportunities to develop as a leader and gain practical experience through internships and study abroad programs. All of this on a campus built to support you. Providing this type of experience is expensive, but that does not mean it cannot be affordable.

It is our commitment to be your partner throughout the financial aid process. We are here to assist you in making this exceptional form of education accessible to you and your family.

Tuition and Fees 2019-2020

Tuition $50,278
Housing and Meals $13,400
Mandatory Fees $868
Total $64,546

Indirect costs include books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses. There may be additional charges for on-campus and off-campus Winter Term and May Term courses.

It is important to note that the direct cost may not be the true cost to your family. For most students, your cost will be less than the published cost and we will help you find ways to make the investment in a DePauw education one that is within reach for you.
