Bringing the world to Greencastle

Ubben Lecture Series

Our distinguished Ubben Lecture Series welcomes some of the world’s most influential leaders on campus. Students and speakers meet in a small setting to learn new perspectives, discuss challenging topics and imagine solutions to world problems.

We have hosted more than 107 lectures and class visits since the series began in 1986. Speakers have included politicians, journalists, scientists, artists and human right activists – hailing from the highest government offices and foremost research institutions to remote third world initiatives and war-torn territories. Click here to see a list of past speakers. The Ubben Lectures Series is free and open to the public.
