Flu shot clinics are open to all students at no charge!
You may not receive a flu shot if:

You have a fever or are feeling ill the day of the vaccination.

You are allergic to eggs, chickens or feathers.

You have had a serious reaction to the influenza immunization in the past.
How:
Students may walk-in during the dates and times listed below. Please be sure to (1) follow the signage when you arrive at the DePauw Health Wellness Center and (2) print, complete the forms (attached), and bring them with you to the clinic. Can't make a walk-in date or time? Call the DePauw Health Wellness Center at 765-658-4555 to schedule an appointment.
Where:
Flu shot clinics will take place in the Buehler Health and Wellness Suites on the second floor of the Lilly Center for Physical Education and Recreation. Enter the southeast entrance to the Lilly Center and use the stairs or elevator to get to the second floor.

DePauw Health Wellness Center operates on an appointment-only basis. Current students are eligible to utilize the DePauw Health Wellness Center. Call 765-658-4555 to make an appointment. Appointments are available during these hours:

Health Services
Most health services provided in the DePauw Health Wellness Center have no out-of-pocket costs to students as part of their annual comprehensive fee. The following are a list of services for students:

- Exercise Counseling
- Testing for HIV and sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis, trichomoniasis, herpes)
- Allergy Injections
- TB Quantiferon Golds
- Lab services
- Medications – $20 oral contraceptive (3 month supply); Plan B $20; Ella $20; Other short-term antibiotics and anti-inflammatories are available for free.
- Immunizations (Hep A, Hep B, MMR, PPD, Tdap, Influenza, Chicken Pox, Gardasil, Meningitis, Typhoid, Polio, Pre-Rabies) – Costs vary. Billed to student account.
Specialty health care is available through local and regional-based medical and surgical specialists at Hendricks Regional Health and Putnam County Hospital.
Medical Records and Your Privacy
DePauw Health Wellness Center utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system to enable better coordination of care, faster test results, and more streamlined physician ordering. The EPIC EMR system that has a patient portal called MyChart to access medical records, test results and appointment summaries. Make sure to speak with your Medical Assistant about getting registered for MyChart in order to access your medical records.
Your personal health information is 100% confidential. DePauw University values and understands that your privacy is very important. All information contained in your health record is confidential, as protected by federal law. DePauw University will not, under any circumstances, have access to individual results.
