A celebration of all things piano and string through performance classes, creative workshops, ensemble collaboration and an extravaganza closing concert in beautiful Kresge Auditorium!
Open to piano/string students (age 12 and older), family members and music teachers.

Pianists have an opportunity to perform one of the following ensemble pieces! Indicate your interest on the application form, and we will be in touch with you or your teacher to identify a part that is best suited to your ability level by Oct 10. 8 spots only, so register soon!

Participate in one of two exciting string choirs! Please indicate which group you would like to join on the application form. You will be sent a PDF of your part and a copy of the score by October 10.

Whether you are a music student, family member, or teacher, find inspiration in our 88 + 4 workshops! Past workshops have included:
Performing with Electronics, Intro to Jazz Piano Improvisation, Navigating the College Maze, College Campus Tour, Music Composition for Beginners, Movement and Music: Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Studio Jam (Improvisation) and Savvy Studio Shakeup!

88+4 Extravaganza Concert

Join us for a mind-blowing evening of piano and string music! Showcasing 88+4 high school student piano/string ensembles and DePauw University faculty, experience breathtaking repertoire inspired by classical, bluegrass, techno, tango, jazz, electronics and more. The event also serves as a dedication for a brand new Steinway grand piano that lives in the Green Center for the Performing Arts.
