Piano Ensembles

Pianists have an opportunity to perform one of the following ensemble pieces! Indicate your interest on the application form, and we will be in touch with you or your teacher to identify a part that is best suited to your ability level by Oct 10. 8 spots only, so register soon!

Strings Ensembles

10:30 AM

Participate in one of two exciting string choirs! Please indicate which group you would like to join on the application form. You will be sent a PDF of your part and a copy of the score by October 10.

Whether you are a music student, family member, or teacher, find inspiration in our 88 + 4 workshops! Each attendee visits 3 sessions, which include topics like:

Piano/String Masterclasses
Led by: Various piano/string faculty

Each session involves 3-4 students, coached by a DePauw faculty member. Repertoire is free choice–any composition or excerpt 5 minutes or less. All levels may participate. Assignments made based on the application form, first come, first served.

88+4 Extravaganza Concert

7:00 PM

Join us for a mind-blowing evening of piano and string music! Showcasing 88+4 high school student piano/string ensembles and DePauw University faculty, experience breathtaking repertoire inspired by classical, bluegrass, techno, tango, jazz, electronics, and more. The event also serves as a dedication for a brand new Steinway grand piano that lives in the Green Center for the Performing Arts.
