Principal Cellist of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Andre J. Gaskins enjoys a diverse musical career as cellist, conductor, composer and music educator. Maintaining an active schedule as a performing cellist, his recording of Martinu’s Concertino for the Summit Records label was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Awards, in the category of "Best Performance by a small ensemble (with or without conductor)".

Alexandro Cazares

Alexandro Cazares is a multidisciplinary bassist, composer, and educator. He is currently the associate Professor of bass at DePauw University. Cazares is the co-founder of a contemporary ensemble called Bitter Proof and the bassist for Beatty & the Bayonets. He plays as a substitute bassist for the Sinfonia de Camera, Lafayette Symphony, Danville Symphony Orchestra, Anderson Symphony Orchestra, and Kokomo Symphony.

Harriet Thompson Moore has performed solo and symphonic works with many orchestras throughout the United States, including the North Carolina, Duke University, University of North Carolina, and Indiana University symphony orchestras. She has recorded numerous CDs with DePauw and Indiana State University faculty.

Sandy Williams, Instructor of Jazz Guitar, teaches private jazz guitar lessons. He has been a member of the DePauw School of Music faculty since 1996. He has also taught the Jazz Improvisation class and coached small combos.

Orcenith Smith

Named “Outstanding Professor of Music” three times at DePauw, Orcenith Smith also was the inaugural recipient of the Cassel Grubb University Professorship in Music from 1999 to 2003. He has conducted over 800 performances of orchestral, operatic, and choral/orchestral repertoire for which critical acclaim has come both here and abroad.

Snyder was selected as one of 66 pianists from all over the world to compete in the Martial Solal International Jazz Piano Competition, which was held in Paris, France, in October 2002.

An accomplished collaborative pianist, she has performed with principals of leading orchestras such as the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and The Bolshoi Theatre.

Russian born pianist Natalia Rachford started her music education at the age of seven in the music school of her native city Rostov-on-Don. She studied under Vera Klyachko, student of the famous Russian pianist Vladimir Sofronitsky, who was a student and friend of Alexander Scriabin.

Claudia Nunez

Claudia Santana Nunez hails from Havana, Cuba. She holds a B.M. degree from The University of Arts in Cuba, as well as a P.D. and M.M. from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Claudia is currently a candidate for becoming a Doctor of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, under the guidance of Prof. Kevin Murphy, Prof. Anne Epperson, Dr. Aram Arakelyan, and Dr. Charles Prestinari. She has experience working as a Collaborative Pianist, with special emphasis in vocal literature and coaching. Claudia has performed with many renown operatic artists in Cuba, and has worked closely with highly recognized professors and performers while at Indiana University.

Betty Lin Gallardo

A native of Dominican Republic and Taiwan, Betty Lin Gallardo has a diverse background with her musical career as a pianist, educator, and collaborative musician. Her extensive experience in piano teaching and performing is recognized internationally including Taiwan, Spain, and the
United States. Dr Lin Gallardo served as the chamber pianist of the Youth Orchestra of Sevilla in 2014, Spain, she later joined the Memphis Music Initiative as a teaching fellow in 2016, where she taught class piano at Memphis public middle school and high school.
