Curtis grew up in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio, where he learned to appreciate all that a small and vibrant community has to offer. He completed his undergraduate work at Oberlin College as a Bonner Scholar. Curtis also has a Master’s in Human Development from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s in International Business from Salem International University. Prior to joining the Office of Admission at DePauw, Curtis worked as an academic and career advisor at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Curtis joined the DePauw community in August 2015, moving from the Big Apple to the small town of Greencastle. He loves to help students and their families learn more about all of the aspects of DePauw. As the multicultural recruiter, Curtis works with students from across the the world, opening their eyes to the opportunities that a small town like Greencastle has to offer a student’s education.
In Curtis’ spare time, he he loves to travel and enjoys watching Korean dramas. He’s a foodie and loves trying new restaurants in the Indianapolis area.
