Please review the required admission materials checklist below to make sure you have all of the necessary materials. We are a Common App exclusive school. Please note the additional requirements for music, transfer and international students.

Regular Decision Deadline: February 1.

Get a Secondary School Report

You can use the Common Application website to fulfill this requirement.

Get your official test scores

DePauw University numbers for submitting score are 1166 (AP, TOEFL, SAT I, and SAT II) and 1184 (ACT). We superscore. Do you have questions about the new SAT? Click here for a list of FAQs.

Send your official high school transcript

This must come from your current or most recently attended high school.

Submit a letter of recommendation

This can be from either a teacher or high school guidance counselor. You can use the Common Application website to fulfill this requirement.

First Year Students: Next Steps

Congrats on taking the first step in starting your DePauw story.  Your application will be reviewed by the admission counselor that represents your territory for an initial review prior to full consideration by our admission committee. If you completed the financial aid process, your file will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Office. During this time, you should be evaluating the different Honor Scholar and Fellows Programs to see if you are interested in applying to one or more of these highly selective programs. Your Common Application will receive automatic review by the scholarship committee for merit/scholarship awards. All information on tuition and aid can be found by clicking here.
