Google's Zach Koch '09 Quoted in Online Payments Story

Zach Koch '09 is quoted in a Sept. 27 Business Standard story about standardizing online payments. Koch, who represents Google in a collaboration with Apple and Facebook, discussed the simplicity of the user experience the tech giants want to create.

"We wanted to remove what we jokingly call the Nascar effect of checkout, where you see five or seven logos for the different cards and payment methods you can use," said Zach Koch, the top Google executive on the project. "This is really fast, where a user can say, 'Tap, tap, buy.'"
