Will Carroll, Baseball Writer and Author of The Juice, at DePauw October 12

October 8, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Will Carroll, author of The Juice: The Real Story of Baseball's Drug Problems, will visit the DePauw University campus Wednesday, October 12. Carroll will discuss the book and his contributions to Baseball Prospectus at 7:30 p.m. in Watson Forum of the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media. Presented by the Media Fellows program, the event is free and open to all.
The Boston Globe calls The Juice, "a must-read if you wish to truly understand the problem." The book was co-authored by Will Carroll's father, Dr. William Carroll, a former athletic trainer in professional sports and a respected sports medicine educator. Will Carroll has also written Saving The Pitcher, a revolutionary book about preventing pitching injuries
that has been widely applauded. Based in Indianapolis, Carroll also writes a daily column called "Under the Knife" and hosts a weekly radio show on WXLW/ ESPN 950.
