A Place at the Table
Morris Dees, chief trial counsel and co-founder of
the southern poverty Law Center, has devoted his career to educating
others about tolerance and the value of understanding among citizens
of America. Through his efforts at the southern poverty Law
Center, founded in 1971, Mr. Dees has served as counsel in lawsuits
that framed the history of combating racially motivated crimes and
ask them in tolerance over the last 30 years.
