Discover opportunities for creative expression, exploration and enjoyment outside the classroom. Be inspired by our year-round Performing Arts programming and learn from award-winning authors and poets with the Kelly Writers Series. Make your debut on the theatre stage or with an original exhibit in one of our three gallery spaces. Paint, sculpt and perform in the variety of art centers and studio spaces around campus.
Arts & Culture
DePauw University’s commitment to arts and culture shines in the breadth and depth of our annual artistic production. Each year, more than 200 events, including theater, music, speaking engagements and other vibrant artistic experiences are hosted and produced on campus. Students, faculty, staff and the regional community embrace the DePauw tradition of creative excellence and deep community connection that offers these opportunities for discovery and engagement, enriching campus life and fostering lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Music
Experience inventions in musical expression through the artistry of 21st century musicians. Our robust programming and performance calendar connects students to more than 200 annual events, including student ensembles, musical theatre productions, concert tours, competitions and master classes with renowned guest artists from around the world.

Speakers
Engage with the world’s most influential minds, masters and change-agents: David Cameron, Jane Goodall, Colin Powell, Malala Yousafzai and more than 100 others. Every year we empower our students by connecting them directly with people who are making a tangible difference in the world. So they can learn from them. And then go and do the same.
