Governing Councils and Chapters
The Office of Student Involvement supports students and their fraternity and sorority experience through engagement in the shared-governance of their chapter and governing council. There are 21 fraternal organizations on campus who belong to one of three governing councils. Fraternity & Sorority Governing Councils
The Interfraternity Council’s mission is to promote the shared interests and values of our member fraternities. United through leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship, IFC men seek to encourage unity and cooperation among men.
Member Organizations include: Alpha Tau Omega, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Tau Delta, Delta Upsilon, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), Phi Kappa Psi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
The National Pan-Hellenic Council’s mission is to uphold camaraderie, practice high ideals of scholarship, and lead the way in service to the community.
Member Organizations include: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Panhellenic's mission is to foster a supportive environment, which values scholarship, philanthropy, leadership, and personal growth through sisterhood. The seven member sororities are values-based social organizations, providing members with a tight-knit community of peers and ample opportunities for leadership, academic support, and community engagement.
