Media Services

Media Services provides audio and video (A/V) support for campus events, manages A/V components of technology classrooms and teaching spaces, and offers checkout, delivery, and setup of several types of audiovisual equipment for students, faculty, and staff members.

The Media Services Staff provides staffing and services to support events in most locations on campus, including classrooms, auditoriums, meeting rooms, performance spaces, indoor and outdoor athletic fields, reception spaces, etc.

Performing Arts Production Staff supports events in the Green Center for the Performing Arts (GCPA) and Music on the Square. Find information about arranging for events in those venues here:

Audio services for campus members

  • Audio setup and live support for events

  • CD conversion of cassette tape, LP, reel-to-reel tape, and SD card, excluding copyrighted materials

Video services for campus members

  • DVD conversion of 16mm, Hi8, Mini DV, S-VHS, VHS, VHS-C, and SD card for University purposes, excluding copyright material

  • Video recording of campus events with permission from presenter/performer - Link to Speaker Release Form

  • Video or audio live Web streaming campus events

Equipment and Reservations

Media Services offers a variety of media equipment for checkout, delivery, and setup. Advance reservations are recommended as equipment is subject to availability.

Arrange Services or Submit an Equipment Request

Email mediastaff@depauw.edu to submit your request. After receiving the request, Media Services will notify you as to the availability of the equipment.
