The HelpDesk is available during office hours. Walk-in HelpDesk support is limited to hours noted below, but staff members can assist you with most issues and requests virtually during other times.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged to ensure the right staff are available when you arrive.

This time is useful for:

  • ID card processing
  • Picking up and returning checkout equipment
  • Issues that cannot be resolved remotely

If additional attention or troubleshooting is needed, we will escalate a FAMIS technology support ticket to an Information Services staff member with specialized experience. If they have questions after reviewing the ticket, they may:

  • Contact you to request additional information.
  • Reserve time to meet with you virtually through a secure support session. During this session, they may ask for your permission to share your screen with them.
