Mackenzie Cremeans '14 elected president of the Association of Women Geoscientists

Mackenzie Cremeans (Environmental Geoscience '14) has been chosen president-elect by the membership of the Association of Women Geoscientists. Mackenzie, a Madison and Lila Self Graduate Fellow at Kansas University, will begin her role as president of this international organization on Oct 1 and continue through 2018-2019. This honor was all the more prestigious because Mackenzie is the first student to be elected president. Congratulations, Mackenzie!
