H.S. Senior Wrestles Toward State Finals, Eyes DePauw

December 21, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - John Hillenburg, a senior at Franklin (Indiana) High School has his sights set on a state championship in wrestling, and the possibility of spending his college career at DePauw University. Hillenburg is profiled in a story by Steve Hanlon in today's Indianapolis Star, entitled "Hard-working senior wrestler does his feasting on opponents."
The article tells of Hillenburg's dedication to success, his play in soccer, football and wrestling, and notes that "Hillenburg hopes to attend either DePauw University or Miami of Ohio. He can play soccer at DePauw, but Miami doesn't have a soccer program. He wants to major in chemistry and get into a pre-med program."
