Tom Maack.jpgAugust 31, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "We will be very strong on the defensive side of the field because of the experience we have," says Tom Maack, the new head coach of the boys soccer team at Montana's Laurel High School and 1997 graduate of DePauw University. "Maack has coached youth soccer teams in Laurel the past two years and also played at the collegiate level for four years at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN," reports the Laurel Outlook.

"We are going to play a counter-attack style of play this season. It will focus on keeping the ball out of our net and finding our spots to score," Maack tells the newspaper. "We had a great preseason with seven straight days of two-a-day practices," the new coach, whose team is already 0-1-1 in the regular season, adds. "The kids' attitudes have been great."
