DePauw HelmetApril 13, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "Carmel High School senior Ryan Huffman has committed to DePauw University to play football," reports the Indianapolis Star. "The 6-2, 250-pound defensive lineman helped the Greyhounds to a Class 5A state runner-up finish last fall," writes Kristen Leigh Porter.

"It's a great, great program and an outstanding school," Huffman tells the newspaper, which notes that he will play defensive tackle for the Tigers. "They were one of the first ones to recruit me."

Porter adds, "NCAA Division III DePauw competes in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and finished last season 6-4 overall and 3-3 in conference play."
