James J. McKinney, a 2002 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed chief financial officer of Banc of California, Inc. Previously the company's chief accounting officer, McKinney will have direct responsibility for accounting, tax, financial and regulatory reporting, and financial analytics in his new role.
McKinney previously served as vice president, controller and principal accounting officer at International Lease Finance Corporation, and has held positions at RBS Asset Finance, KPMG and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
A computer science major and business administration minor at DePauw, McKinney went on to earn a master's degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
