Indiana State Police Lt. Donna Elam '88 Promoted to Captain of Special Investigations

Donna M. Elam, an Indiana State Lieutenant, has been promoted to the rank of captain and will serve as assistant commander of the Indiana State Police Special Investigations Division. Capt. Elam is a 1988 graduate of DePauw University.
"The Special Investigations Command oversees the drug enforcement section and the special investigations section which includes the public corruption, organized crime, human trafficking and auto theft units," notes Bedford radio station WBIW.
Elam, who joined ISP in 1993, "will supervise 110 enforcement and civilian employees throughout the State of Indiana" in her new role. She was an English major at DePauw.
