About Kappa Alpha Theta...

Kappa Alpha Theta is the international fraternity for women founded on January 27, 1870 at Indiana Asbury (now DePauw University) in Greencastle, Indiana. The founders of Kappa Alpha Theta were among the first women enrolled and first female graduates of Indiana Asbury.

The national philanthropy of Kappa Alpha Theta is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). The Alpha Chapter at DePauw supports this philanthropy in a variety of community events, most notably through "Mr. University."

Kappa Alpha Theta's colors are Black and Gold; their flower is the Pansy and their symbol is the Kite.
