Admission into ITAP is highly selective and based on: academic record, analytical skills, communication skills, extra-curricular activities, evidence of leadership and initiative, evidence of interest in and knowledge of ITAP, technology-related experience (projects, employment, courses, etc.), and existing technology skills. Experience with technology is desirable, but comfort working with it is more important. A passion to learn more about technology and its role in society are crucial as are strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
