Artist Talk: Erik Lundorf '09

Greencastle, November 14 - The Department of Art and Art History is excited to welcome back Erik Lundorf '09, an accomplished illustrator and designer, for an artist talk.  The event is scheduled to take place on November 28, 4:30pm at The Richard E. Peeler Art Center.  

A graduate of DePauw University's studio art program, Erik will share his journey from DePauw to creating graphiccolorful illustrations on a book cover novels and illustrations. With a portfolio that spans educational content, iconic murals, and a compelling graphic novel titled "Revealed!" released in the summer of 2023, Lundorf has established himself as a versatile and visionary artist.

During the artist talk, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into Lundorf's artistic evolution and the role that DePauw's studio art program played in shaping his creative foundation. Lundorf's talk will touch on his experiences as a contracted illustrator for USA English, his collaborations with esteemed institutions like the Indy Arts Council and the Indiana Pacers, and his dedication to the comics medium as a means of powerful narrative expression.

The event is open to the public. It presents an exceptional opportunity to explore the intersection of art and narrative through the lens of an accomplished artist.

"We are excited to host Erik Lundorf and provide a platform for him to share his journey and insights with our community," said Misti Scott, Outreach & Programs Manager for the Peeler Art Center at DePauw University. "His talk will undoubtedly resonate with current students, highlighting  the impact of a DePauw education on creative pursuits."  This event is free and open to the public.
