Shannon, University Professor and professor of philosophy, contributes a paper to the latest edition (volume 6, number 2) of St. Anselm Journal. Dr. Shannon's article is entitled "Justifying Atonement: An Anselmian Response to Modern Critics."

St. Anselm Journal is a refereed e-journal of articles, discussion papers, and book reviews that examine the life, thought, teachings, and spirituality of Saint Anselm of Canterbury as well as proceedings of programs sponsored by the Institute for Saint Anselm Studies.
